Tamora Pierce is the only author I have ever expressly tried to meet, and she is the only author who’s book I stood in line to have signed. Tamora Pierce understands what her audience needs to read about, and I just wish I had read this series when I was supposed to. Think on who you’re fighting, if only because one day you must meet your match. Alanna had to clap him on the back before he caught his breath again. She rarely tired, even hiking over rough country.
