I am writing about Evangeline, of course! I read a lot of wonderful academic studies about angels and I read quite a lot of the Bible. From the depths they grieved for air and light and their lost freedom. You split your time between the United States and France. When I closed the back cover, I was rather meh about it all. I found that Falling Through the Earth was more emotionally draining, especially because my father was ill for much of the time I was writing the book. Angelology is a mixed bag.
